Technical Executive Director
Garth Wyllie
Garth has been the Technical Executive Director of in the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association (Cosmetics New Zealand) for 28 years.
In his role he represents the organisation in regulatory areas including international standards committees for cosmetics, sunscreens and manufacturing practices.
Garth can also provide expertise in the application of advertising standards in New Zealand.

Martha Van Arts
Martha understood the potential for environmental consideration in the 90’s graduating with a Masters in Environmental Engineering. Her career has spanned sustainable business, manufacturing, supply chain, global sales and marketing, and the world of advertising. Having worked in areas of advertising, FMCG marketing, and further up the supply chain sourcing raw materials, product development, ISO9000 auditing, and ISO14000 EMS, Martha’s combined technical background and marketing skill is a powerful mix.

Sara is a Cosmetic Chemist with over 25 years in the Cosmetic and Beauty Industry. Starting out as a Beauty Therapist then furthering her education into Cosmetic Chemistry, Sara has owned her own brand of cosmetics and worked with new business startups and large multinational Cosmetic brands.

Skin Deep
Fleur Insley
Fleur has worked in the New Zealand beauty industry for over 20 years working for both a Global corporate (L’Oréal New Zealand) and distributor in various senior Sales, Marketing and Management roles. Fleur now owns a small business, Skin Deep, a New Zealand Manuka Honey skincare brand in the Beauty Therapy market. She also recently launched online retailer, Clean Beauty Collective in November 2018. Fleur is Vice Chair for 22/23 year.

Peter Foyston
Peter is a seasoned executive with extensive sales and marketing experience spanning large multinationals and start-ups. He has held senior management positions in the consumer goods/food sectors around the world, including 20 years in China. He started his career with Procter & Gamble, then had Asia regional leadership roles with Chiquitta Brands, Campbell Soup and Goodman Fielder. Most recently, he was Chief Sales Officer for TradeWindow Holdings, a NZX listed software company.

Made 4 Baby
Rebecca McLeod
Rebecca is the co-founder of Made4Baby, a natural skincare company. Rebecca specifically designed for the sensitive skins of babies and children. After 14 years of manufacturing a New Zealand made skincare, Rebecca has made many contacts in the skincare industry in NZ. This led to her assisting Look Good Feel Better create a range of skincare products for their participants. She worked with the suppliers and manufactures to ensure a high-quality product was made in NZ and donated by the companies.

Russ Baunton
Russ Baunton is the Managing Director of Crew Distributors, a privately owned salon distribution company. Russ was born in NZ but grew up in Canada, returning to complete his Masters in International Business and Strategic Management. He has a strong sales, marketing and management background in the pharmaceutical, sports and beauty industries. Russ has been a previous member of the executive of the CTFA, the Chairman of the Salon Marketers Group and on the board of Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation (HITO).

Sarah Harper is the Corporate Affairs & Engagement Manager for L’Oréal New Zealand, a subsidiary of the world’s leading beauty company which has a unique portfolio of 36 diverse beauty brands and employs 85 000 people worldwide. Sarah is an experienced marketer and communications practitioner, with experience in New Zealand, the UK, EMEA, and at a global level for over 20 years. She has extensive beauty industry expertise across luxury and FMCG beauty including cosmetics, skincare, men’s grooming, fine fragrance, salon Haircare & colour. She has held senior marketing and digital roles at L’Oreal New Zealand since 2016.

Teresa Marlin
NZ Country manager for Estée Lauder Group. Following an earlier career in the company, Teresa re-joined The Estee Lauder Companies in 2009 as Sales and Marketing Manager, Jo Malone London, and over the past 12 years, she has taken on roles of increasing responsibility within the New Zealand Affiliate, including Marketing Manager, Estée Lauder and Brand General Manager, Estée Lauder. In 2016, Teresa added responsibility for TOM FORD BEAUTY to her role, leading the successful launch of the brand in the New Zealand market, whilst continuing to deliver outstanding business results for the Estée Lauder brand.
